Care for Each Use

1: Gentle Hand-Wash Only 

Preserve Taski's beauty by avoiding dishwashers. Hand-wash it with care, to ensure its longevity.

2: Swiftly Dry

Wash and dry promptly after each use. Enclosed in the box is a Taski Knife Cloth, which you can use to maintain the beauty of your knife. Please make use of it.

3: Mindful Cutting

While Taski knives are renowned for their ease of sharpening and flexible blades, it's crucial to exercise caution when it comes to cutting hard objects, such as meat bones, to preserve their pristine edge. To ensure longevity and performance, always use a cutting board and refrain from using them on unforgiving surfaces like metal or stone, as these can lead to blade chipping and a loss of sharpness.

 

Tips for Long-Lasting Use

Taski knives are made of AUS-8 material, which is comprehensively balanced to achieve an excellent sharpness suitable for home use and easy to maintain, in order to make them an enjoyable partner for daily cooking at home.

To ensure that you can enjoy the sharpness of the original purchase for as long as possible, Taski asks that you perform simple maintenance once a week and sharpening once a month.

Quick Maintenance

Frequency: Once a week
Surface Used: Honing disc side

■How to Use

  1. Attach the Taski knife to the 15-degree angle of the magnetic holder. Please make sure the knife is flush with table.
  2. Roll the honing disc back and forth, sharpening both sides of the knife about 10 times each.

Thoroughly Sharpen the Blade

Frequency: Once a month
Surface Used: Yellow ceramic disc side

■How to Use
Before you begin: Soak the yellow ceramic disc side in water for about 10 minutes.

  1. Attach the Taski knife to the 15-degree angle of the magnetic holder. Please make sure the knife is flush with table.
  2. Roll the yellow ceramic disc side of the sharpener back and forth, sharpening both sides of the knife approximately 20 times each.
  3. Remove burrs on both sides of the knife with the honing disc.

We do not recommend sharpening knives with blade widths wider than the diameter of the Taski Rolling Shapener.
