Is it dishwasher safe?

Nope. Like all great knives, hand-wash only to protect the steel and handle.

What steel is it and what does it mean?

3-layer Stamped Steel - VG-10 - Hardness (HRC): 61.
61 means it’s very hard, so it stays sharp longer — but it still won’t chip easily thanks to the layered
design.

How do I sharpen it?

Use a whetstone or ceramic honing rod is recommended. A care guide is included.
